When it comes to your Mac or Windows machine, it is very important that you back-up your data. No matter who you are or what you do for a living, most of your entire life is probably on that Mac or Windows computer. This would include your photos, videos, financial documents, sensitive information, and so much more. When it comes to the subject of how to back-up your Mac, here are some back-up solutions to use with your current Mac or PC.

What is Cloud storage? – Cloud storage is basically where you store your data on another server off site from your own device. There are several cloud storage providers out there. iCloud, Google Drive, DropBox, Microsoft OneDrive, and Carbonite to name a few. They vary from storage and pricing and you would need to research which one is best for you.

Local Mac Backup – If you are on a Mac, the built-in solution is Time Machine. This is ideal for people who simply want to have their backups within reach.
